We’ve discussed before that Obama often misused the USG to attack his political enemies, and clearly that he has done so against Trump. They finally pushed too far, and Donald J. Trump is willing to rip the whole thing open instead of fighting in the back rooms the way politicians expect.
It is not unreasonable to suspect this is all going to backfire on the DNC spectacularly and wind up firmly on Obama’s doorstep.
